Andrew Jackson Greene (1883-August 12, 1942) was a life-long resident of Watauga County, N.C. and instructor in several Watauga schools including Appalachian State Teachers College. Greene worked as a farmer, a public school teacher, and a college professor. Greene was an enthusiastic diarist maintaining regular entries from 1906 until the day before his death.
